Requirements and Responsibilities
⚫ Experience & Technical Skills:
- Minimum of five years of experience in vehicle inspection, automotive service technician, or similar role.
- Proven experience with diagnostic tools and vehicle inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Skilled in performing comprehensive vehicle inspections and providing detailed reports.
- Ability to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
⚫ Core Competencies
- Strong attention to detail to accurately evaluate vehicle condition.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to elaborate on inspection findings to customers and supervisor.
- Ability to prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation.
- Customer service-focused with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
- Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information, such as customer records and vehicle issues.
- Ability to work within tight schedules and manage multiple inspections in a day.
⚫ Flexibility:
- Willing to travel to various mobile inspection sites.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
⚫ Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to perform inspection.
- Tools to perform the inspection must be in possession.
- Smartphone for communication and camera to take pictures for the inspection.
- Commitment to comply with all safety standards and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
⚫ Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary automotive training strongly preferred.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification desirable.
